Troy NC, Saturday, November 11. The main event starts at 0830 at 4026 NC-109, Troy Nc 27371. 13th Annual Uwharrie Veterans Day Ride, November 11th across from the Out Post on NC 109. This years events kick off at 8:30am with ride check in (if you would like to ride with someone you would also come to the check in to be paired with a driver). Groups start leaving at 10am or once full, 10 rigs per group. At 3:30pm the boy scouts will start serving chili (donation to them appreciated). 1700 starts the ceremony with retiring the colors and TAPS, followed by veteran coins. We have green beret CW4 Jay Rekow to share some stories and motivational speaking. The raffle will follow soon after. This event is free to all and all are welcomed. Free camping on sites starting Thursday Nov.9th through Sunday Nov 12, we ask that all campers bring their trash to the supplied trash trailer.
