On Wednesday, May 18th at 10 am ET, the Elizabeth Dole Foundation and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs will host our 7th Annual National Convening, Bold Steps for the Future: Action, Policy, and Priorities. Join us for a virtual event as we seek to improve the military caregiver experience in America, and address priorities to cultivate a hopeful future for our nation’s hidden heroes, veterans, survivors, and their families.
Presented by Philips, the National Convening will feature live remarks by Senator Elizabeth Dole and The Honorable VA Secretary Denis McDonough. Virtual sessions will highlight the advancements to support the military caregiver experience, key milestones in the caregiver journey, and the vision for our nation's culture of care. The event is free and open to all.
For 10 years, the Elizabeth Dole Foundation has taken the lead in strengthening the nation’s support of military caregivers and their families and making it a permanent part of how America cares for our military and veteran communities. Working alongside key change-makers, it’s our promise to our hidden heroes that the future looks brighter.
