Join The Blue Star Mothers of Charlotte NC 15 and Gold Star Families & State Officials from North Carolina and South Carolina, Patriot Guard Riders, Rolling Thunders, Buffalo Soldiers, Team RWB, joggers, bikers, cyclists, car/van pools are welcome to join us on this journey!       

Fundraiser Kick Off 2K on Friday, September 28, 2018 5:45-7:45 pm to honor and observe the mothers, spouses and children who had a son, daughter, wife, husband or father, killed in any war of conflict or committed suicide while active duty. 2K registration starts at 5:30pm.  Guest speakers are state/local officials from 6:00-6:25pm. Run begins at 6:25pm.  

Kick-off 210 Mallard Creek Church Rd & N. Tryon, Charlotte, NC at Kirk Fields. Ultimate Sacrifice Journey begins Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 8:00 a.m. Overnight stay in Virginia then onto the White House September 30, 2018. Journey with us part or all the way or meet us in DC. 

To support the Gold Star Families in requesting the posting and observance of this official “Day of Remembrance” on official state and national calendars and flags to be flown half staff.  This National Gold Star Mothers Day was deemed a holiday in 1936.
