Come celebrate the 2nd Annual Veterans Day Parade & Ceremony taking place on Saturday, November 11 A free breakfast for Veterans will take place from 7a-8a at Huntersville Presbyterian Church (all are welcome and no registration required). Parade will start at 9:45am in downtown Huntersville. Ceremony to follow promptly at 11:00am with food for purchase, live music, and free activities for all ages from 11:30am-2:00pm. Enjoy Bounce Boot Camp, making cards for vets, airbrush tattoos, balloon twisting, local organizations/clubs, and Uncle Sam. All veterans and families are encouraged to join us for the festivities. Local clubs and organizations wanting to participate in the parade and celebrations are encouraged to reach out for more details on how to get involved.
Parade applications are now available at the Huntersville Parks and Recreation office or by emailing Downtown Events and Facility Coordinator, Alison Ahrens, and are due by Friday, October 20, 2017.
